OC Active Seniors (OCAS) was created to fill a gap in senior resources and activities in Orange County, California for those who are “seniors in age only.” OCAS strives to offer information and tools to assist these individuals navigate life as well opportunities for volunteerism and group recreational activities.

Meet Our Founder
OC Active Seniors, LLC (OCAS) was founded by Judy Papio Mastracchio, a native New Yorker and Southern California transplant. She saw a need for information and resources for local Baby Boomers and Seniors who are still living life to the fullest and are classified as “Seniors” or “Senior Citizens” by age only.
With her background in award-winning creative writing, public relations and marketing, she is a natural for providing fresh content to the website on a daily basis.
OCAS’ purpose is to help those 55 and over (who aren’t anywhere near ready for Meals-On-Wheels and Bingo!) continue to learn and thrive.
As Judy says, “Active ‘seniors’ are ‘too busy to grow old gracefully!’”
Senior services, local events, advice on mid-life career changes, caring for aging parents, senior dating and suggestions for financial planning are just some of the topics covered on www.OCActiveSeniors.com. The site also offers a wealth of information on exercise, dining out, sports, recreational events and adult education.
The eNewsletter Golden Opportunity, distributed monthly, brings exclusive shopping, travel and dining opportunities as well as contests, drawings and invitations to meet-ups for these “still ready for prime time players” to mix and mingle!

Meet Our Director of Sales
Meet Mary Churchill our new Director of Sales, with responsibilities for building and training a team of exceptional professionals as OCAS launches its sales team.
Mary’s outstanding career in sales for the past 24 years has been in the Real Estate Profession with the last 12 years in Management. As a Realtor® she earned many top ten awards in sales along with achievements in Management, Leadership and Training. She is a noted author of several articles on leadership for some statewide publications.
As well as being an adjunct professor for California Baptist University for four years, Mary has also been in real estate management and training for the past ten years. She holds an MS Degree in Leadership and Management from the University of LaVerne and a BS Degree in Business Administration from California Baptist University.
She was a member of the Woman’s Council of Realtors® WCR Inland Valley Chapter for three years and served as Chair of the By-Laws Committee and as Parliamentarian. She has chaired special events for organizations to which she has belonged, raising money for a variety of non-profit organizations.

Meet Our Destination Editor
Rob has been a communications professional for more than 25 years. After graduating from college with a masters degree in communication arts, he has worked exclusively in public relations, publishing and advertising, winning several awards for creative strategies and their implementation.
One such campaign was the first placement of missing children on milk cartons for Alta-Dena Dairy, in 1985. More recently, Produce Business magazine named him a winner of its Marketing Excellence Award for campaigns undertaken for Babé Farms and Westlake Produce Company in 2004 and 2005 respectively.
Rob’s experience includes being founding editor of Orange Coast magazine, teaching for nine semesters on the university level, heading the creative departments of two Orange County advertising agencies and writing a monthly feature in Southland Golf magazine.
Currently he is the editor and publisher of Travel Voucher, Business World, Health Cares and At Home magazines. He is headquartered in Huntington Beach.
