Bolsa Chica Habitat Restoration: Help restore the Bolsa Chica wetlands by planting, pulling weeds and watering. Bring gloves, closed-toe shoes and sun protection; tools are provided. Adult Table Tennis: Every Wednesday, come and play table tennis for cash prizes. All levels of players are welcome. Also, train for the Olympics. Tryouts are held at 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays for kids 7-10 years of age. PowerPong.org.

Yin Yoga: The Harmony HB Arts and Wellness Center, 16907 Algonquint St., offers Yin Yoga on Monday and Wednesdays that focuses on strengthening the deep tissues through floor postures. Classes are from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. A single class is $17. Information: 714.840.2446 or harmony-hb.com.

Ballroom Dancing: On the second Friday of every month, the Rodgers Senior Center will host ballroom dances for seniors. The dance is sponsored by the Huntington Beach Council on Aging. The cost is $7.50 which will include snacks and coffee. Wine and sodas will be available for purchase. Singles are welcome. Information: 714.536.9387.

Downtown Huntington Beach Art Walk: 6 to 9 p.m. every third Thursday of the month. Visit the artists of the area during this self-guided tour that includes exhibits, live music, poetry readings, and more—pick up a map at the Huntington Beach Art Center, 538 Main St. Free. Surf City Nights: Every Tuesday, 5 – 9 p.m., 200 Main Street. Street fair for everyone. Main Street will be closed between Walnut and Orange Avenues. Those interested in vendor or performing may call 714.536.8300.

Farmer’s Market and Art-A-Faire: noon – dusk, every Friday at Pier Plaza, and selected weekends.

Farmer’s Market and Family Fest: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., every Saturday at Peter’s Landing, 16400 Pacific Coast Highway, just north of Warner Avenue. Fresh produce and other goods will be sold. Information: 562.296.1331.

HB Mercado: The HB Mercado Certified Farmers Market is held every Saturday, rain or shine, at Ocean View High School, 17071 Gothard St. Vendors offer fresh produce. Those interested in becoming a vendor or volunteer can call: 714.596.7063 or info@oakviewwrp.org.

Home Improvements: The city can help residents with home improvements and renovations through low-interest loans and deferred payments for low- or moderate-income residents. Up to $75,000 can be used for general property upgrades or to correct household problems in violation of city codes. Information: 626.331.6373.

Aquarium Support Needed: The city is asking residents to help save the aquarium at the Huntington Beach Central Library. It costs $1,250 a month to maintain. City App: Residents can download an app for their smartphones that will allow them to request tree trimming or report graffiti, among other functions. Residents can choose an issue and take a picture to report a problem. Information: surfcity-hb.org.
