Computer Classes: The Laguna Niguel Library offers a free, three-part beginning computer class on Wednesdays. Classes are from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Registration is required, and each class is limited to two people. Registration: 949.249.5252.
Recycling Drive: The Knights of Columbus at St. Timothy’s Catholic Church will collect cans, bottles and newspapers the 4th Saturday of every month from 7 a.m. to noon at the church parking lot, 29102 Crown Valley Parkway.
Smoke Alarms: The Orange County Fire Authority will distribute smoke alarms for the hearing impaired free to multi-family homes with disabled residents. For information or to be added to the list to receive these devices, call 714.573.6153 or 714.573.6200.
Drug Drop-Off: The city has a drug drop-off receptacle at City Hall inside a secure area of police services. Various drugs, including prescription and over-the counter can be dropped off – no questions asked – keeping drugs away from children or abusers. Items can be dropped off Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 30111 Crown Valley Parkway.
